Workshop 4 : Adventure - Atari 2600 (1979)

Adventure is considered as the first adventure game ever made. It was created as a console game in 1979 for Atari 2600. Adventure sold million copies, which was seventh best selling Atari 2600 game. It was inspired by text game, but the game designer make the game as graphics instead.

The player's character is presented as a square, which aims to explore the entire screen. The goal is to find an enchanted gold cup and return it to the gold castle. There are three roaming dragons which have different characteristics. They can be killed using a sword, by simply touching it. However, when any of them touches the player, they will swallow the player and trapped him.
